Package 1: Semester-based courses<\/h2>\n \n <\/div>[vc_column_text]Regular evening classes held twice a week from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014totaling 60 hours per semester\u2014foster solid, long-lasting learning.<\/p>\n

Classes take place in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The focus is on oral practice in groups of 8 to 10 students\u2014small enough for everyone to speak while still benefiting from group dynamics\u2014complemented by two or three on-site immersion sessions<\/strong> each semester. Optional homework exercises allow students to continue practicing outside of class hours.<\/p>\n

All our teachers are qualified and experienced in teaching French as a foreign language.[\/vc_column_text]\n

Course locations<\/h5>\n \n <\/div>[vc_column_text]Several locations are available, depending on the level: Gif-sur-Yvette (Moulon), Bures-sur-Yvette, Palaiseau Plateau (Polytechnique campus), Massy\/Palaiseau, Villejuif, or online. Ap\u00e9ro-FLE<\/h5>\n \n <\/div>[vc_column_text]These inter-group workshops, offered as an optional extra one Friday evening a month, are led by Science Accueil staff or an instructor. They provide an opportunity to practice French in a different\u2014and often fun\u2014setting, featuring activities such as board games, outdoor games, and debates.[\/vc_column_text]\n

Course levels<\/h5>\n \n <\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

We offer five levels or programs designed to match different skill levels. Participants are placed into appropriate groups based on the results of an online placement test<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  • Beginner<\/strong>: you have just arrived in France and have little to no knowledge of the French language<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • False Beginner<\/strong>: you have basic knowledge of French and would like to gain confidence in speaking<\/li>\n
  • Pre-intermediate<\/strong>: you have a basic command of French and would like to deepen your knowledge<\/li>\n
  • Intermediate<\/strong>: you can express your ideas clearly and in detail but would like to speak more fluently in conversation<\/li>\n
  • Advanced<\/strong>: you have a strong command of French and would like to perfect your skills in the language of Moli\u00e8re<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
