Prepare your stay
Science Accueil is your mobility centre if you are a researcher or Ph.D student who comes and works in the South of Ile-de-France, in one of the higher education and research establishment of Essonne or Yvelines departement.
You should complete the on-line questionnaire or send us an e-mail to contact@science-accueil.org to receive an answer from us.

Housing
Science Accueil's contacts with many private citizens and two hotel residences in Les Ulis and Bures-sur-Yvette, enable us to maintain an up-to-date file of furnished lodgings to let, situated near the RER B and C lines, in the area of Plateau of Saclay and in Paris.
This service is only for people who come and work in member establishments of our association.
Administrative procedures
We can help you settle most of the administrative problems you could encounter: visa, "carte de séjour", work permit, social security, opening of bank account, insurances, schooling, daily life...).

French courses for researchers and their families
With ALFAP association, we propose collective French classes for all levels, in the daytime or in the evening, in Bures-sur-Yvette or in Orsay, close a station of RER B.
The Accueils des Villes Françaises association (AVF) organises French courses of conversation in friendly surroundings too.
Tourism, visits, leisure
Want to go out ? Practice a sport or your favourite cultural activity ? Meet other foreigns ? Have activities for your family ? Or maybe just to get to know this region and its inhabitants better ?
Thanks to its local implantation, Science Accueil is able to orient you towards associations, clubs or other organisms that can provide what you are looking for.
With Office de tourisme de la Vallée de Chevreuse, Accueils des Villes Françaises and ALFAP, we organize cultural visits too, in South of Ile-de-France or in Paris, specially for you.
