The housing guide of Euraxess France is appeared
Within the framework of the "housing" working group of Euraxess France, Science Accueil participated in the elaboration of a housing guide for the researchers. This very complete document answers the main questions that a foreign researcher asks when he has to find accommodation in France.
Thursday, November 17th, Science Accueil organized its 12th Forum and welcome cocktail party for visiting researchers and their hosts in Orsay
Since 12 years, Science Welcome organizes a welcome forum, where local associations and welcome groups display some of the cultural, sporting and tourist attractions to be found in our region. This year, this forum has taken place on the 17th of November 2011, in cultural centre of Orsay. More than 200 guests came.
Collaboration with UniverSud Paris for the project RBUCE-UP
Within the framework of the European project RBUCE-UP to recruit 26 talented researchers on the international stage, Science Welcome and UniverSud Paris signed an agreement.

It happens every year when children remain blocked on the border when they come back in France from holidays in their country of origin, even if they are accompanied with their parents. Why? The requests of services at the 1st of January 2011
Since its creation on 1997, Science Accueil has welcomed more than 15.200 guests to help them to find accommodation and for administrative assistance. For the year of 2010, we have helped 2.121 persons. Since 7 years, our activity increases of 15% per year.
